Kyle Hobratschk founded 100 WEST in 2012 after purchasing the 1890s decommissioned Odd Fellows Lodge in downtown Corsicana to repurpose former meeting halls into studio and living accommodations, furnished with pieces constructed in 100W’s first-floor wood shop. Kyle is founder and executive director of the CORSICANA ARTIST AND WRITER RESIDENCY, 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2018, to grow 100 WEST’s residency program under the mission: to advance the production and presentation of new work and ideas by an international community of artists and writers by providing an arena of generous support and historic space.
